Students got to make a digital project on iPads or code in the computer lab during River Bend's first STEM day. Kindergarten and first grade students made a video with Chatterpix, while second graders made a video using Tellagami. Third, fourth and fifth graders learned about the importance of computer science and the importance of computer programming. They were introduced to coding using code.org's Hour of Code. Their activity involved using simple code to program their own video games in the computer lab.
In groups, Mr. Miller's class at WSPMS used Chatterpix to quickly create a short animated clip of each organelle telling its own purpose. Then, they created a Thinglink and linked each video to the correct organelle. Check it out!
Mrs. Moran's class at TAHS took a trip to Egypt today! Without leaving the walls of the classroom! Watch as they explore using the "Google Street View" App!
